Where do I get ingredients to make lip gloss?

I really want to make lip gloss and I look for recipes online and I keep seeing beeswax and a whole bunch of other stuff for lip gloss. Can you guys tell me what ingredients to get and where please?Where do I get ingredients to make lip gloss?
Beeswax (the pellet-shaped sort works best)or petroleum jelly

Sunflower oil or another kind of vegetable oil

Flavoring and/or scent like Kool Aid

Coloring (pinch a bit from your favorite lipstick or using food coloring)

Any additives you might like

Small containers (old lip gloss containers or you can buy plastic tubes at the drug store)

[edit] StepsAssemble the ingredients.

Prepare a double boiler. (See ';Tips';)

Place a quarter cup of the beeswax in the pot.

Add two tablespoons of the sunflower oil.

Turn the burner on low heat and stir the mixture of oil and wax continuously as it slowly melts together.

Remove from heat once the wax and oil have melted together. Add desired flavorings, scents and/or color.

Pour it into small pots for storage.

Let it cool.

Store in a cool environment and use within 2 months .

[edit] TipsFlavorings: You can purchase flavoring and scent for lip gloss from any good craft store; beeswax can also be purchased at the craft store or a health food store. At the grocery store you can pick up the sunflower oil and flavorings such as mint extract.

Containers: You can usually find some nice tins or pots at the dollar store. At craft stores, you can sometimes find twist-up 'lipstick-like' containers.

If you do not own a double boiler, it is easy to make one by placing a small pot over a slightly larger pot with water in it. Be sure that the small pot doesn't touch the water in the larger pot. Check the water level frequently so the bottom pot doesn't boil dry.

For added moisturizing protection, try adding Vitamin E. If you are trying to ward off a cold, consider adding menthol but always talk to your pharmacist or health store specialist about any precautions or contraindications. (A contraindication is a factor, such as menthol, that may increase the risks involved in using other drugs. [1])

Extend your lip gloss' life by storing it in the fridge when not in use.

[edit] WarningsIf you're using lipstick to get ';the perfect shade,'; don't use someone else's lipstick or one that's older than 12 months. Be careful of what ingredients are in the lipstick if you are interested in avoiding certain chemicals.

Do not keep lip gloss longer than three months. Discard if it looks fuzzy, moldy or odd in any way. Keep it in a cool environmental, preferably refrigerated.

As with any product to be placed on the skin, always test a small portion first to see if you have any allergic reactions. This is unlikely to be suitable for you if you know you have an allergy to honey or bee pollen.

Do not keep a lip gloss used during a cold or other respiratory illness. It may continue to harbor the bacteria or virus.

This recipe is not suitable for vegans.

Discard unused portions in the garbage or by composting. Do not wash cosmetics down the drain; this affects sealife negatively.
